DIDI Project Design Space
Think like a designer!
The Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI) Project Design Space was an innovative after-school club for students from years 6-10. The program provided students the opportunities to solve real-life challenges faced by the community, government organizations, and corporations. Participants competed to win project briefs written by actual clients.
The club was broken down into multiple after-school sessions. After the final session, each team submitted a video pitch of its solution prototype to a panel of DIDI Design Space judges.
The DIDI clients were:
- Dubai Festival City
- Emirates Nature – WWF
- Lego ME
More than 4,500 students from 100 schools across the UAE participated. Our students were divided into teams and work on the project continued for three months. Four of MSB’s students were selected Finalists for their Nike Challenge submission.
